With Bene to work by e-bike

5 April 2022

Whether for business or pleasure, Bene's job bike programme is not only a healthy and environmentally friendly way to get to work, but above all a cost-effective one.

More than 120 employees have already signed up for the job bike programme, even though the mobility promotion programme has only been offered at all Bene locations in Austria and Germany since the beginning of 2022. The job bike programme gives all participants the opportunity to use e-bikes for their own use at an attractive usage fee. Bene is thus increasing the proportion of journeys to the workplace made by bicycle and motivating employees to switch to bicycles in their everyday work and private lives.

"With the job bike programme, we are promoting mobility, health and exercise in everyday life. As the initiator, I am particularly pleased that our mobility service has been so well received. We get a lot of positive feedback. Our colleagues from production in particular use the job bike for travelling to and from work and, of course, also for private purposes," says Director Human Resources Bene, Martin Zehetgruber.

Company mobility management: e-bikes at Bene

Bene provides interested employees with an e-bike that can be used for both business and private purposes. In order to make the monthly fee attractive for all participants, Bene uses appropriate subsidy models, tax deduction options and makes a significant additional contribution itself to reach as many employees as possible.

Bene employee Andreas Hönigl always cycles to work; he now rides his e-bike almost every day and sees the advantage in the fact that he can get to work in a shorter journey time and with less effort. "It's a pleasant start to the day for me, the e-bike gets me to work comfortably and with ease. I wouldn't have bought one personally, but with Bene's job bike offer, it pays off for me."

Over the course of the summer, the design work for the cycle path, which runs directly past the company headquarters in Schwarzwiesenstraße in Waidhofen/Ybbs, will be completed, making a safe e-bike ride to work even more appealing.
